Apricot kernel oil is primarily composed of oleic acid (60%) and linoleic acid (30%). Oleic acid is known for its ability to moisturize both skin and hair and reduce appearances of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles. Linoleic acid helps aid in wound healing, has anti-inflammatory properties, clears up acne, and promotes moisture retention in the skin.

Apricot oil can also be used in a scrub to give you soft and glowing skin in minutes. Mix it with some olive oil or almond oil and some sugar to make a scrub that you can gently all over your face and neck, Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.
